Oddly, it was easy to quit when I finally realized that supporting these companies went against everything I stood for. It’s more than animal rights… it’s another story of the rich white men targeting minorities, targeting the LGBT community, targeting the lower class, enforcing gender roles, preying on low self-esteem. Every time I tried to quit for my physical health I couldn’t do it. I guess my beliefs are stronger than my body. This is why smoking is not hip and ironic. I just texted this to my boyfriend.
